trodoro is built exclusively for Apple. Not Android, not Windows.
Our trade-off
By building exclusively for Apple, we’re saying no to everyone on Android or Windows. That’s a real trade-off — and we made it deliberately.
What we get in return makes it worth it.
What it means for you
Building exclusively for Apple isn’t about technology for its own sake. It’s about concrete things you notice every day.
Your data stays in Apple’s ecosystem. Everything is stored locally on your device and syncs through your iCloud account — not through our servers, not through a third-party cloud. That means Apple’s encryption protects your data, and it never leaves the infrastructure you already trust.
We don’t know who you are. We don’t have your email address, your name, or your payment details. Apple handles all of that. You download the app, pay through the App Store if you want, and start using it. No new account, no sign-up, no vendor to keep track of.
You’re not putting your business with yet another vendor. Most tools require you to create an account and store your client data, projects, and billing records on their servers. With trodoro, you use the infrastructure you already have — your iCloud account, your devices. Nothing new to manage or worry about.
Apps that work the way you expect. They launch instantly, follow your system settings, work seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and sync through the infrastructure Apple built for exactly this purpose.
Faster updates, fewer bugs. By focusing on one platform, we spend all our time on what actually matters to you — instead of spreading thin across multiple ecosystems.
We’re not for everyone
If you use Android or Windows, trodoro isn’t for you. Working in a mixed-platform environment? We can still be the right choice — thanks to comprehensive export options, you can share your logged hours, mileage reports, and project data with collaborators regardless of what systems they use. You get apps built for you and your devices, without losing the ability to collaborate.
We’d rather be the best option for people who live in the Apple ecosystem than an okay option for everyone. We’d rather do one thing well than two things adequately.
The freelancers, consultants, and small business owners who use iPhone, iPad, and Mac every day — that’s who we build for. If that’s you, we think you’ll notice the difference.
The companies we admire
The apps we use and love are almost all platform-exclusive: Things, Bear, Halide, Fantastical, Craft. They’re great because they don’t try to be everywhere. They focus.
That’s exactly what we want to do too.
